Volunteer at Market Hall

Volunteers are essential to Market Hall. Whether you're greeting patrons in the lobby, taking tickets at the door, or helping behind the scenes during business hours, you make every event possible. In return, our volunteers enjoy live performances free of charge, get a behind-the-scenes look at how a heritage performing arts centre operates, and become part of a community that has kept this venue alive for more than a century.

Front of House Volunteers (Ushers, Door Staff, Event Staff) offer excellent customer service to patrons attending public and community events and see those events free of charge.

Administrative Volunteers archive media materials, assist with mailings etc. during business hours and are eligible for complimentary tickets to select events. Training is provided. Support the arts and your community by offering your services and enjoy dance, theatre, film, music, lectures and visual arts.
